Lodi and Kirby Hills Facilities

The Lodi and Kirby Hills facilities are located approximately 8 km north and 72 km west of Lodi, California, respectively. Together, the facilities comprise 34 storage wells across four depleted natural gas reservoirs, providing significant operational flexibility to meet a range of customer needs.

The Lodi reservoirs are designed to serve peaking demand, while the Kirby Hills reservoirs primarily support seasonal baseload storage requirements. The facilities are supported by approximately 26,600 horsepower of compression at the Lodi facility and 27,970 horsepower at the Kirby Hills facility. Both assets are connected to PG&E's intrastate natural gas pipeline system on the Redwood Path.

Through multiple interconnections, customers benefit from direct access to PG&E Citygate pricing and liquidity, and to one of California's most important natural gas markets.
